Day 3: Word Count: Behind

Okay, after the aliens were defeated, (although any reference to the aliens will be taken out on December 1, or 2, or maybe even later, but they will be taken out, since really, aliens have no place in a fairy tale, real or not) King Stefan and Queen Leah wasted no time in filing several lawsuits, including:

A civil action against the entire village for, among other things:

• Not protecting the royal family against the evil Maleficent;
• Not rescuing the Borealis family and the residents of the castle sooner; and
• Renaming the village from Borealisville to Maleficent Haven.

They also filed suit against the Magic Mattress Company. Apparently Aurora woke up from her slumber with a sore back.

I'd have thought that the village would be upset over the lawsuit against them. But no, everyone seemed fixated on the blight to the reputation of the mattress company. To be fair, they had been in business for several hundred years, starting out when mattresses were just lumps of hay. They guaranteed the best night's sleep ever. Not the best hundred nights' sleep, or what ever a hundred times per year, or whatever that math was sleep. (That sentence will be fixed. Someday)
